Curtis Jr.
Curtis Jr.
The name is Curtis Jr. (A.K.A Tom Curtis Jr.), A singer/Song writer born in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Curtis Jr. began teaching himself music at the age of 14 and started writing his own material a year later. After jamming along with a band for a couple of years, Curtis jumped on the crazy train and went solo.

Pushing harder then ever, Curtis Jr. began writing more, performing all over the area including Philadelphia, Delaware, and New York, and also started hitting the studios. After bursting through demo track after demo track, the 6 song EP titled "Lie To Me" was released, January 8th, 2010. Tracks off the EP such as "The Stars", "Lie To Me", and "So Much" can be heard on 93.7 WSTW. Live sessions on 93.7 and other local radio stations were broadcasted around the time of the release as well.

After performing dozens of shows following the release of "Lie To Me", new material was forming from Curtis' catalog over the year and it wasn't slowing down. Recording started once again in the Spring of 2011 when Tom Curtis Jr. and Dean McKenna met for the first time and took off. Curtis Jr.'s newest single " Passion " was released July 30th, 2011 at a Support and Hope Benefit Show for a critical illness known as R.S.D. You can visit (http://www.RSDSupportandHope.org/) for more information.

In 2012, Curtis Jr. met and started working with Bill McLaughlin, Drummer of R3 for the last decade, and Peter Massaro, Very highly acclaimed guitarist in multiple states, as the official start to the group, "Curtis Jr.". New material was created and performed live at locations such as Love Park, The Note, Dobbs, Dave & Buster's, and other local venues. Now that 2013 has rolled in and out, things have grown much more serious for the group with many more shows, many more songs, and many more exciting plans. Rob Shaffer, Producer/ Guitarist/ Bassist of the "Lie To Me EP" of 2010, has jumped back in the group as front guitar man shredding things up as usual.

Curtis Jr. is very excited for the new year. Solid band, Bigger shows, Traveling, and the New Debut Album! Things are gonna get real around here with these guys so stick around for the show, spread the word, and GET HAPPY!
Vilebred
Vilebred
Vilebred is a Philly-based experimental rock band, constantly churning out rich melodies, epic anthems and enough snark to make everyone a little uncomfortable. Following the footsteps of his brother Kurt Vile, Sam Vile is the musical architect that leads this circus, with influences ranging from The Violent Femmes to Radiohead. Band members include, Dug Gillan (bass/vocals) and Jeremy Dawson (Lead Guitar) of "The Nodd", Chelsea Sue Allen (keys/vocals) who is also a talented solo artist of the same name, and Will Donahue (drums/vocals) who, while members sometimes come and go, has been in the band since the very beginning. Some reoccurring members include Dean Gorfti (Drums) and Gene Isayev (sax and flute).

John Faye
Philly rock veteran John Faye has truly taken matters into his own hands: his new solo album Meddling Kid (which won the WSTW Homey Award for 2015 Album of the Year) is an artistic tour-de-force on which he plays every instrument and sings every note (with the one notable exception of inviting all of his colleagues from his former band IKE to sing gang vocals on his remake of that band's signature hit "Into Philadelphia"). The lead single, "D.N.A.," is a scathing rebuke of skin-deep relationships and snap judgements in the age of Tinder and short attention spans.
John Faye has amassed an impressive musical resume dating back to his major label days fronting 90's alt-rockers The Caulfields (whose single "Devil's Diary" cracked the modern rock top-40, and whose album tracks landed on soundtracks for Disney's "The Babysitter's Club" and "Melrose Place"), to his first solo foray The John Faye Power Trip, which morphed into the aforementioned IKE (who put out 6 full-length records from 2003-2011), and his punk / garage-rock influenced duo John & Brittany, who gained notoriety on the Sirius/XM channel "Little Steven's Underground Garage" and on MTV-u with their video for their song "Paper Planes."
Now, in 2016, Faye is forging a brand new DIY path with his new record and live band, fittingly called John Faye & Those Meddling Kids! With sold out headlining shows in Philly, and recent support slots with Nate Ruess of Fun, The War On Drugs, Soul Asylum, and Pat Benatar, John Faye is poised to bring out the Meddling Kid in everyone within earshot.
